SUN: PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 178 EHC BRANCHES IN 155 NATIONS: Uruguay has the highest happiness index in South America, yet its suicide rates kept climbing over the years. EHC team has thus accelerated outreach to every town and village. Pray for the love of God to comfort hearts in despair and overcome opposing forces from the enemy.
2) 400K CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: EHC Paraguay set up CGs in needy communities to share Christ’s love with vulnerable children and youth. Pray for them to learn about the way to eternal life and to benefit from the fellowship of love.
3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: The 12 co-workers of EHC Papua New Guinea had to physically carry heavy loads of tracts to their outreach destinations after landslides destroyed key vehicle routes. Thanks be to God for their safe arrival and pray for Him to lead them in these new harvest fields.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA: The Lomami province in Congo always posed strong resistance against the Gospel. EHC Congo hopes for more brethren to respond to God’s call and draw upon the Holy Spirit’s power to reach out to lead many to Christ.
2) CCIS: CCIS will have its fundraising movie premiere at Lido theatre on 29 July, 7.30pm featuring the film “Sight”. Pray for support from the medical community apart from our fellow believers.
3) THE DANGEROUS END TIMES: The people of the world are deceived by Satan’s lies and disregard God’s truth to pursue riches and worldly desires, and many end up losing both their money and their souls. Pray for the churches to redouble efforts to save more souls.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) CCM MINISTRIES IN SG, MY, TH, AND MM: Pray for the prompt approval of the plans for the “JB Misson Building” and provision of the RM$10M cost. Pray also for them to use their courses, counselling, and literary and media outreach to equip and edify believers and bear many fruits for Him.
2) BETHANY EMMANUEL CHURCH: Loving God with a passion, they have supported local and more than 30 overseas ministries and edified many believers over the years. Pray for the Lord’s blessing upon them and for suitable successors to carry on their good work.
3) “MY PRECIOUS BOOK”: SEHC gifted 100 copies to Rev. and Mrs. Curtis from HK to use as children’s class materials. Pray for this beautifully illustrated Bible storybook to be a gateway for the young ones to know salvation in God and Christ.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) A SOUL A DAY MINISTRY: Of the 10 locations they reached out to weekly, Changi Airport has been replaced with the Eunos district. Pray for the Gospel’s doors to open for them and for new believers to be promptly followed up with and nurtured in Christ.
2) DEAF-MUTE FAITH FELLOWSHIP: A pastor and co-workers are urgently needed to run this special weekly ministry serving about 30 brethren and to reach out to the deaf-mute community. Pray for suitable candidates.
3) EHC JAPAN: Historical and cultural burdens hinder the Gospel in this nation, as was deeply felt by our Oikos outreach co-workers who went there with TWR in March. Pray for the Lord to open hearts and make them ready to receive the Gospel.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC DONORS AND INTERCESSORS: SEHC has raised enough to replace our gospel van through the support of the brethren. Glory to God! Prayers and love offerings are the essential movers of ministry. Pray for the Lord to edify the good work of your hands.
2) BIBLE CAMP IN JUNE HOLIDAYS: Most people are making plans for holiday travel and recreation, but the churches have been busy preparing Bible camps to nourish souls. Pray for enthusiastic participation and for lives to be changed by God’s love.
3) LOCAL CHURCHES AND BRETHREN IN EVANGELISM: A taxi driver came by to buy tracts to sow gospel seeds at work among his passengers. Pray for more brethren to share the Gospel at every opportunity in daily life.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY
1) OIKOS OUTREACH: From last June till this April, over 1,000 blocks of flats have been reached, plus some condos and landed homes. More than 50 persons have accepted Christ. Pray for the Holy spirit to touch the tract readers and lead new believers in their growth.
2) ISRAEL-HAMAS CONFLICT: Many have died or suffered lifelong trauma in this long-drawn war. Pray for those who were displaced and for the Holy Spirit to show both sides the way to lasting peace so the war can end soon.
3) EAST ASIA TRACTS OUTREACH: Someone with neurasthenia looked to paganism for help in vain but was instead healed after reading a gospel tract and joined the tract outreach ministry soon after that. Pray for God to lead many to Him through tract outreach.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) BATAM ORPHANAGE MINISTRY: A volunteer of SEHC collects toys and clothes each month to send to the Christian orphanages on the island. Pray for them to become the platforms for God’s love to flow to others.
2) “HAPPY FAMILY GUIDEBOOK”: Divorce rates have been rising due to societal shifts in marriage views such as the “partner culture” in East Asia. Pray for the 30K copies of this booklet to reinforce Christian family values.
3) PRAYERS FOR THE UNWELL: Thanks be to God for eradicating the cancer cells from Sis. Irene’s system. Bro. Xin can now stand up a little after hydrotherapy. Pray for Rev. Siew Chiu Huo’s dialysis, Bro Lundy Huang’s spine trauma recovery, and Rev. Ng Meng Lek’s post-surgery recovery.
