FEED 5,000 CAMPAIGN – EVANGELISM IN AFRICA
- A) EHC Mozambique: The outreach work in the Dondo District of Sofala Province has been fruitful, and the ministry expanding from small Christ Groups to the planting of churches. A volunteer pastor who was half-blind experienced healing and regained his sight while serving, testifying to the presence of God’s grace. The team also extended its outreach to Quelimane, where HIV cases were on the rise, hoping that prostitutes, drug addicts, criminals, and idol-worshipping youths would believe in Jesus, so they can experience transformation and see their broken families restored and healed.
- B) EHC Liberia: The team’s outreach work received enthusiastic responses from pastors, community leaders, pagans, and followers of traditional folk religions. It has made breakthrough progress with many families accepting gospel tracts, and many were touched by God’s love and accepted Christ. Pray for new believers from pagan backgrounds to stand firm in the face of their families’ opposition.
- C) EHC Nigeria: In the northwest region, banditry is rampant, and kidnappings were frequent. Two volunteers were tragically kidnapped and murdered while evangelizing. We pray for the Lord to comfort their grieving families. On the other hand, despite being attacked by bandits, the medical evangelism team managed to complete their mission safely. May God’s hand guard all coworkers and volunteers in their travels and may He shine His light into the eyes of the wicked blinded by sin, so that the afflicted people may come to believe in Jesus soon.
CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS IN SINGAPORE (CCIS) FUNDRAISING AND PROGRAM PLANNING

The fundraising dinner on 09 September is imminent. Appeal letters have been sent out but encouraging responses have yet to be received! This year’s budget is $350,000, but the current funds we have are just over $30,000. Please pray earnestly for our God Jehovah-Jireh’s provision. Additionally, CCIS is raising funds through the sale of two items at our bookroom: John’s Gospel Interactive Storybook for Children – this includes a video link explaining the life of Jesus, and retails at $5 each, and the “Gulu-Mee” Plush Lamb Audio Player – it contains audio such as Bible readings, songs, and stories, and retails at $50 each. Brethren are encouraged to purchase these as gifts for children while at the same time supporting this year’s CCIS event. As the Lord’s return draws near, the committee is doing all it can to seize every opportunity to share the Gospel and hopes more churches and believers will enthusiastically respond to jointly support this annual Christmas Gospel initiative proclaiming the good news of our Saviour’s birth.
“THE BEST BLESSING” - NOW IN CHINESE, ENGLISH, AND JAPANESE

“The Best Blessing” is a compilation of gospel tracts written by Elder Samuel Ching. It explains key gospel topics to readers from various angles, such as the existence of the soul, the reality of God, who the true God is, the Bible as God’s Word, Jesus as Savior, and His wonderful salvation. The Bible tells us that God’s precious salvation is for all people, but how can they believe if they have not heard? We hope the brethren will actively share this booklet with friends and family, so their spiritual eyes may be opened to receive God’s salvation and eternal life. We encourage brethren planning trips to Japan to buy a few copies beforehand and look for opportunities to distribute them to the Japanese people, so they may receive the best blessing of all, which is salvation itself.
REPRINTING CHINESE-ENGLISH / TAMIL TRACTS - PROCLAIMING THE GOSPEL TO ALL NATIONS

To accelerate the spread of the Gospel and free more people from the bondage of sin into God’s kingdom of light and freedom, we reprinted the following tracts in June, with 20,000 copies each. These are 3 Tamil tracts: “Peaceful”, “Taste and See”, “How Far”, and 4 bilingual Chinese-English tracts: “A Life of Happiness”, “You’re Invited”, “Is Jesus Our Spiritual Repose?” and “Believe and Be Saved”. Of these, “Believe and Be Saved” is an illustrated tract suitable for all ages. Pray that the Lord will guide churches and believers to use these seven reprinted tracts to share the Gospel with locals and Indian migrant workers, so that they too may enjoy the blessings of the Gospel.
EVANGELISM AND DISCIPLESHIP IN CREATIVE ACCESS REGIONS
EHC in Country R: Their outreach to mountain areas faced legal restrictions that prohibit distributing tracts in public. However, the team still bravely proceeds, relying on the Lord. Pray for their safe travels and lasting impact from their work.
EHC in Country K: A faithful believer opened his home to many brethren for worship and discipleship classes. The recent addition of three new believers affirms God’s wonderful work. May the household churches in this country be blessed by the Lord, and that the Holy Spirit move powerfully to empower believers' lives to bear witness to the Gospel and attract neighbours to seek and know the Savior.
EHC in Country T: Extremist pagans in this country closely monitor Christian activities in various regions. One area is particularly active and hostile, making the team’s outreach there increasingly difficult. Pray for the Lord to open doors and soften hearts so that the people will accept gospel tracts and come to know the one true God so they can receive Jesus as Saviour.
“GOD LOVES THE WORLD” AND “DO YOU KNOW?” - LOVE FROM HEAVEN
The first tract was written by Elder Samuel Ching and explains how God created the universe and all things, revealing His love for mankind. Sadly, although people enjoy God’s creation, they do not believe in the Creator and wilfully sin, thus falling short of His glory. Jesus died for our sins, and through faith in Him, we may have eternal life. The second tract is richly illustrated and emphasizes that God loves you and all mankind. He wants you to become His child, but your sins separate you from Him. However, if you trust in the Lord Jesus, your sins will be forgiven, and you will receive the promise of entering heaven. This combo tract will be reprinted in 2 million copies across the APAC region. Please pray for the Lord to use it greatly.
“I WANT TO BE A CHRISTIAN” AND “SERMON ON THE MOUNT” - HELPING YOU BETTER UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE
The first book is written by Bro. Fan Xuede and records the author’s struggles in his journey of faith over the years. It is not a book about systematic theology but rather a string of devotional reflections collected along his walk with the Lord. The second book written by Bro. Silas Wu has seven chapters and is compiled from Bible study messages shared and recorded at a co-workers’ meeting. The author's deep reading and reflection on the Bible bears three characteristics - completeness, depth, and detail. These two books are suitable for all new believers. May the Lord use them.
“JOURNEY TO DEEPER LIFE” AND “THE TRANSCENDENT LIFE” - LIFE IN JESUS
The first book is written by Elder Samuel Ching and is a collection of sermon messages given by the author through God’s grace, covering a series of topics such as clearly understanding God's Salvation, Building a life of fellowship with God, Living in godliness, Knowing the Bible, Dedicating to follow the Lord, Serving the Lord, and Spreading the Gospel. The second book is written by Bro. Mu Sheng and focuses on the eight miracles recorded in the Gospel of John. The author identifies four main threads in John’s Gospel: Faith, Life, Love, and Light. Following these threads reveals the true meaning of the Gospel, revealing life and light that shows Jesus is the only way to life. Both books are available for sale in our bookroom. Everyone is welcome to purchase them.
“DISCIPLESHIP COURSE II” AND “KNOWING THE TRUTH” - DEEPENING YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF TRUTH
The first book is written by Elder Samuel Ching and is suitable for baptized believers. Each lesson comes with questions to help students better grasp the lesson content through group discussions after class. The second book is written by Dr. Zhang Yulan. It aims to help readers find God and is a collection of great works the author has read, sermons he heard, and personal experiences that helps friends discover the light of truth. Topics discussed include: Does God exist, Is the Bible divinely inspired, and Is Jesus the Son of God? These two books will be reprinted and distributed in the APAC region. Pray for the Lord to use them to bless many.
“WHO IS GOD?” AND “IS THERE A GOD?” - JESUS IS THE TRUE GOD
The first book is co-authored by Bro. Dong Dayuan and Bro. Pei Ruiming. It explores the roots of Chinese faith and collects important and relevant materials that may change the reader’s view of life and pursuit of truth. The second booklet is written by Rev. Samuel Lamb and contains five chapters exploring topics such as the invisible nature of God, the wonders of creation, and the wonders of life. These two booklets are excellent evangelistic resources, and each will be printed in 30,000 copies across the APAC region. Please keep them in your prayer.
LOCAL OIKOS MINISTRY UPDATES
“And this Gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:14). Please pray for the migrant friends led to know God by our OIKOS volunteers to bring the seeds of the Gospel back to their homelands.
- Rev. Yeo Pin Pin:I always remembered this Indian Barber namedUthas. Today, he finally had time to sit down with me and say a prayer of commitment to accept Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour after several weeks of “sudden interruptions” (he always had customers turning up without appointments). Every time I passed by his shop during outreach, I would purposely drop in to say hi. I had shared the story of Jesus with him many times but we always got interrupted, so I sent him links to Christian YouTube videos and WhatsApp messages with scripture verses. I thank God for letting me lead this precious soul to Christ after all those visits. Everything has a time in God’s plan, be it sowing or reaping. Thanks be to the Lord!
- Sis. See:During our tract outreach today, we met a very angry middle-aged woman who waited for us right outside the elevator. She berated us for putting a tract outside her flat and returned it to us. Before she left, she threated to call the police if we continued distributing tracts there. We decided to come back another day to finish the remaining distribution so as to avoid agitating her further. After we got back to the ground floor, we saw 2 young Indian migrant workers resting at the empty void deck space, so we approached them and started to shared the Gospel. Thanks be to God – they had watched the Christian programmes of the AngelTV channel before, and when we invited them to pray and accept Jesus, they were very happy to commit to Christ. Both were also receptive to attending church worship. Thanks be to God, in all things He works for the good of those who love Him. We must really always be ready to evangelize regardless of the times and circumstances.
- Bro. Allan:I met a 20+ years old Indian man along the corridor and learnt that he was a foreign student at a local private college. He had read about Jesus on the internet, and after I explained the full meaning of the Gospel to him, he decided to accept Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour in prayer. Thanks and praise to the Lord, He has brought yet another precious soul into His kingdom. I will contact the church to follow up with him and pray for the Lord to edify his fait
