SUN: PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 178 EHC BRANCHES IN 165 NATIONS: EHC Germany reached out to over 3 million Turkish-speaking residents, and Iranian and Afghan migrants and refugees. Pray for the Gospel to bring them a new lease of life, hope, and healing.
2) 490K CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: Amidst the turbulence, EHC Bangladesh formed 36 Christ Groups for 264 new believers, followed up with 6K people, and supplied training materials to over a thousand. Pray for all those trained to become Christ’s soldiers.
3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: Chile is a long and geographically challenging nation, often affected by extreme temperatures and great distances. Pray that the Gospel would reach every corner of the land and that no place would remain untouched by the hope of Christ.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA: EHC Mozambique has planned outreach to the Mopeia and Namacurra regions which are known for superstitious traditions. Pray for the Lord’s word to pierce the darkness and lead them to light, freedom, and salvation.
2) CCIS: Christmas draws near and the fundraising dinner needs your support. Pray for God to lead the preparations and planning, and the use of the venue, and for every visitor to be touched by the Holy Spirit.
3) JOYOUS NATIONAL DAY: One who has self-discipline can empower his country. This tract reminds us that when we give of ourselves, we also love and build up ourselves. Only the Gospel can help us to achieve this, and evangelism is our best birthday present to our nation. Pray for God to use this tract for His kingdom.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) OIKOS MINISTRY: OIKOS volunteers lead both locals and migrant workers to know Christ. When the migrants return home, they bring along the seeds of the Gospel. Pray for them to share it with their family and friends.
2) “GOSPEL EXPRESS”: Who is the true God? What does sin end in? Who is Jesus? How and why should we know Jesus? This booklet provides clear answers. 30K were printed in East Asia. Pray for God’s light to enter many lives.
3) YOUTH HEALTH: A 21-year-old man suddenly collapsed and died; a 19-year-old girl leapt to her death after using zombie vapes; an increase in youth crimes – all these point to a worrying decline in youth mental health. Pray for the wisdom to effectively help them.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) LOCAL CHURCHES AND BRETHREN IN TRACT OUTREACH: One sister in Christ has a burden for evangelism but held back for 20 years because of family and work commitments. After retiring, she bought tracts from us and started her personal outreach. Pray for more proactive brethren to take up the baton of evangelism.
2) “DISCIPLESHIP COURSE II”: The 30K print of volume 2 follows the release of volume 1 in East Asia, equipping believers in holistic understanding of Christ’s suffering and resurrection. Pray for their faith to take root in truth and to become suitable servants of God.
3) EAST ASIA TRACT OUTREACH: Recently, shocking news was reported about a kindergarten adding non-food colouring used for art to save costs and make meals look more attractive, thus seriously damaging the health of over 200 kids. Pray for the 2 million monthly tracts circulating in East Asia to help readers break free from the bondage of greed and sin.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC INTERCESSORS AND DONORS: Prayers and offerings are essential to expanding God’s ministry, and giving is the best way to respond to the Great Commission, demonstrating unity in spreading the Gospel far and wide.
2) “IS THERE A GOD?”: 30K were reprinted for APAC. We hope more atheists and intellectuals would read it carefully and find God from the evidence within the booklet so that they are convicted and humbly come before Jesus Christ.
3) AUTHORS FOR APAC GOSPEL TRACTS: The 2M tracts distributed monthly to the unreached to introduce them to God needs more authors participating to provide gospel messages. Pray for more writers to join hands with us to spread the Gospel with printed text.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY
1) EAST ASIA AND PACIFIC EHC BRANCHES: The directors would meet in Siem Reap in mid-August and share evangelism and discipleship reports, and challenges in global turbulence. Pray for every branch.
2) “HOLD MY HAND FOR LIFE”: Local divorces went up 2%. A badly managed marriage often ends in divorce and hurts the children. Pray for strong Christian marriages raising godly children who please the Lord.
3) LOCAL SEMINARY MINISTRIES: In a world rife with secular digital media and movements, theological seminaries are burdened with the task to spread Christian faith and values while also nurturing God-loving and capable servants of the Lord to take on ministries. Pray for this challenging and long-term endeavour.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) CHINESE CHRISTIAN MISSION: 26 full-time co-workers take care of 15 ministry domains: literary, missions, evangelism, campus, youth, counselling, marriage, music, and audio-visual, etc. Pray for God’s provision for the ministries and the Johor Missions Building.
2) PRAYERS FOR THE UNWELL: Rev. Kao has returned to work, please pray for his health and stamina. Deacon Wu Xiuzhu is weak from cancer metastasis. Rev. Matthew Ding, Ps. Wu Su-E, and Ps. Thomas John were admitted to senior homes. Our volunteer Sis. Huang needs support for post-discharge living. Please pray for them.
3) SIS. ALICE ONG POH LIAN RESTS IN THE LORD: Our former volunteer Sis. Ong has gone home to the Lord on 02 July aged 69. She was an active volunteer despite battling poor health. Pray for her family and 3 children.
