SUN: PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 178 EHC BRANCHES IN 145 NATIONS: Co-workers of EHC Paraguay have to travel by foot to many remote locations with treacherous terrain to spread the Gospel and set up discipleship training. Pray for the new believers to take root in Christ and pass on their faith to many generations.
2) 250K CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: Pray for EHC Tanzania’s new Christ Group which the co-workers overcame many obstacles to set up by God’s guidance and grace. Pray for the new believers to be strong in the faith and become brave warriors of the Gospel.
3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: The people of Czechia face surmounting political, social, and economic tensions because of the war and energy crisis. Pray
for Czech Christians, that they would be able to live in peace in their society and that they will have opportunities to share peace in Jesus with others.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA: EHC Sierra Leone co-workers risked their lives to reach out to places plagued by infectious diseases and extremist religious groups. Pray for their safety.
2) CCIS: The committee continues to shoulder the burden to plan and raise support for the event at Orchard Road. Pray for churches and brethren to support the budget of this massive programme.
3) “GOSPEL OF JOHN” INTERACTIVE BOOK FOR KIDS: Video links in the book helps the young readers to know Christ through lively ventriloquism performances and other video clips. Pray for more brethren to use the book to lead the young to know Christ. Each copy retails at $5 and proceeds will go towards supporting CCIS.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) FLOOD RELIEF FOR JOHOR: Over 40K people were badly affected by the floods, mostly in Johor. The social ministry of the Gereja Presbyterian Malaysia southern district thus initiated a community care effort to provide aid to the victims and received support and partnership from many churches. Pray for the victims to rebuild their homes soon and one day get to know Jesus.
2) “THE BEST BLESSING”: This booklet is a compilation of Elder Samuel Ching’s many tracts that explain the Gospel from various perspectives. There are Chinese and Japanese versions for it too. A sister in Christ bought 20 copies to bring along on a trip to Japan to distribute to the Japanese she met on the trip.
3) APM-BIU MINISTRY’S CHALLENGES: Set up in 1994 to train and deploy missionaries, the ministry reaches out to the unsaved in the 10/40 window and nurtures them to become disciples of Christ. Their campus is now scheduled to move. Pray for God to assign a suitable new location and to provide continued ministry funding.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) 100-VILLAGES MINISTRY IN INDIA: Less than 3% of India’s population were Christians and resistance against the Gospel was strong. The God-loving couple once again sponsored 200K of the “New Life New Hope” tract for their ministry. Please pray for the team’s efforts.
2) SEHC LITERARY MINISTRY: A literary ministry team heard of our need and helped to gather articles for SEHC’s tracts. Pray for many timely messages suitable for the APAC region from evangelistic authors.
3) “WHO IS GOD” AND “REMEMBER THE SOURCE”: These 2 booklets, co-authored by Dong Dayuan and Pei Ruiming, are for Chinese around the world to help them find their roots and come to know Christ. 30K will be reprinted for APAC. Please pray for its wide use.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC DONORS AND INTERCESSORS: The brethren’s prayers and love offerings allow SEHC to subsist and grow, and for literary evangelism to reach many to spread the Gospel and nurture believers.
2) THE AGEING SINGAPORE POPULATION: The ageing local population is a hot topic, especially when dementia, chronic diseases, and loneliness complicated their care. Pray for stronger community gospel ministry to reach out to more unsaved seniors.
3) LOCAL CHURCHES AND BRETHREN IN TRACT OUTREACH: SEHC produces many English, Chinese, and foreign language tracts for varying needs. Pray for more brethren to use them to save souls for Christ.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY 1) “END-TIMES PROPHECIES · A CAUTION TO THE WORLD”: Elder Samuel Ching’s book aims to awaken readers during a disastrous time using end-time prophecies from the Bible, so they can await the Lord’s return.
2) “DON’T WORRY” AND “YOU CAN KNOW TOO”: The first tract was written by Elder Samuel Ching while the second was from CCMUSA. 2M will be printed for APAC. Pray for readers to open their hearts to Jesus as their Saviour.
3) EVANGELISM IN INDIA: Rev. Raghu is active in tract outreach. In March, he shared his vision with 500 village pastors in a co-workers’ conference and gave each one 200 tracts to distribute in their villages.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) SEHC HIRING AN ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: The candidate should be theology educated, around 40 years old, bilingual in English/Chinese and have a burden for literary ministry. They must be able to manage admin, fundraising, and publication. Pray for the Lord to raise a suitable brethren to serve with us.
2) A SOUL A DAY (ASAD) MINISTRY: Aside from their 10 weekly outreach locations, they also gather to pray for one another. Despite the challenges of life, they willingly put in time and effort for the Gospel so that many can know eternal life.
3) THE PASSING OF SIS. CHI LINGHUA: Sis. Chi went back to the Lord in early March. She was a committed servant of God and lived to the age of 97. We give thanks for her abundant life of faith and ask God to comfort her loved ones. Thank you for your prayers.
