SUN: PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 178 EHC BRANCHES IN 165 NATIONS: 600 churches joined EHC Venezuela in the Love Thy Neighbour outreach. Pray for their perseverance and for them to lead many to new lives in Christ.
2) 490K CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: EHC Congo Republic formed several diligent discipleship groups. Pray for their spiritual growth and that many new groups would be formed to reach more places with the Gospel
3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: EHC HQ plans to redouble evangelistic efforts in French Polynesia. Aside from building the necessary logistics connections, it is also essential to partner their local churches. Pray for the plan to manifest step by step to bring the Good News to the islanders.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA: The prison ministry team of EHC St. Helena shared the love of God and tracts with inmates. Pray for His light to take root in their hearts and lead them out of darkness.
2) CCIS: The 2024 celebrations have just concluded, and the committee are already planning new gospel programmes for CCIS 2025. Pray for them to receive wisdom from the Lord in their planning.
3) WORLD PEACE / RECONCILING WITH GOD: War, natural disasters, and bad economy robbed many of stability and peace. Peace will only return when we turn to God. Pray for the 2 million tracts in East Asia to bring new hope.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) OIKOS OUTREACH MINISTRY: The OIKOS team reached 300K+ households last year and led about 100 people to receive Christ. Pray for God to bless this new year with more new believers through their outreach.
2) PRAYERS FOR MISSIONARIES: A visiting missionary shared their ministry challenges with us. Being far from home, they are easily forgotten and receive fewer and fewer intercessory prayers with the passage of each year. Pray for God’s mercy especially for those serving in war-torn and oppressed regions.
3) LOCAL CHURCHES AND BRETHREN IN EVANGELISM: Rev. Zhang often distributes tracts to migrant workers and passersby on the streets amidst his busy pastoral schedule, hitting almost 3K tracts a month and about 100 a day. Pray for God to remember his labour.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) NEW BELIEVER NURTURING IN MYANMAR: The rally held by the seminary in Myanmar led more than 1,000 people to Christ last year. These new believers could not attend church as they had to keep working to survive, so the seminary intend to provide them with rice so they can free up some time. Pray for God’s provision.
2) STABILITY FOR THE WORLD: This new year started off with terrible news of war, car crashes, wildfire and earthquakes. Where has the peace and hope gone to? Pray for the Lord to shelter the weak and prosper the Gospel.
3) “EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS”: This booklet is filled with testimonies from the likes of astronauts, scientists, kings, presidents, and celebrities. One will exclaim “how great is God!” while reading it. Pray for the 20K copies circulating in East Asia to lead many to Christ.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC INTERCESSORS AND DONORS: The new year came with new challenges, but God’s provision always meets our needs through the brethren. Let us join hands to bring the Gospel to refresh withered hearts.
2) CHURCH AND MINISTRY SUCCESSORS: Many churches and ministries could not find successors nowadays and SEHC is no exception. Pray for the Lord to raise God-loving young Christian leaders and for the church and seminaries to nurture the next generation.
3) “WHERE CAN YOU FIND TRUE LOVE”: Marketing strategies used for Valentine’s Day in February makes people mistake it as promoting real love. May God use this tract to help many find true love in Christ, so they can truly love both God and man.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY
1) “BLESSINGS” TRACT: The Evangelical Reform Church Prawet in Bangkok bought 500 copies for outreach. Pray for timely delivery to them and blessings upon their outreach to bring salvation to the Chinese community.
2) CREATIVE ACCESS REGION CO-WORKERS: God listens to prayers and watches over the co-workers who risk their lives to spread His Gospel, allowing them to bear sweet fruit and exceed their goals. Pray for new believers to bravely follow the Lord.
3) PRAYER TIMES: For 52 years since its inception, the Prayer Times have mobilized brethren to pray for EHC’s global literary ministries. Due to rising postage costs, we have moved towards a digital edition and hope you would help to promote it, so that more believers can be encouraged to support and pray for God’s work.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) EASTER OUTREACH: Serious air disasters and wildfires lately have cast the shadow of the fear of death over many. Pray for more churches to use SEHC’s Easter tracts to tell more people that Jesus has already overcome sin and death, bringing victory for mankind.
2) “FOUR GOSPELS Q&A”: Elder Samuel Ching explained 198 questions about the 4 Gospels in this book to help readers know Jesus’ life better and motivate them to study the Bible at greater depth. 20K will be reprinted in APAC to equip more readers.
3) PRAYERS FOR THE UNWELL: Rev. Oh Beng Kee is recovering but still frail. Rev. Daisy Lukman from Indonesia has macular degeneration. Ps. Luo Meiqing has very bad foot pain. Sis. Li Yanlan is suffering from an eczema flare-up on her legs. Bro. Xin is undergoing physiotherapy. Sis Jeanne Kao recovery from hip surgery. Pray for the Lord’s healing to be upon all these brothers and sisters in Christ.
