SUN: PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 178 EHC BRANCHES IN 165 COUNTRIES: Gangs in south Mexico endangered their communities and forced many to flee for their children’s safety. Pray for the safety of the team and for the refugees to know God.
2) 490K CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: EHC Philippines has invited various church denominations to join them in community evangelism. Pray for those who respond to the Gospel to join Christ Groups to receive discipleship training.
3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: EHC Costa Rica hopes the government can take down criminals, reduce crime rates and restore social stability. Pray for their co-workers conducting evangelism and discipleship classes in various towns and villagers.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA: EHC Uganda’s field staff visited Kayunga and Mukono for outreach. Pray for the team to have wisdom and love from Christ to share the Gospel and lead lost souls to Jesus.
2) CCIS: God’s faithfulness and love were demonstrated in the success of last year’s CCIS. The brethren and churches have also put in their labour of love to support the ministry. Pray for the love of God to move the visitors to accept salvation from Christ.
3) “MY WISH FOR CNY” AND “GONG XI FA CAI”: Non-believers often hope for the New Year to remove disappointments of the past, especially when it comes to getting a windfall. Pray for these 2 tracts to guide readers to know true blessings come only from Jesus.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) EHC MINISTRIES GLOBALLY: Amidst the global geopolitical and economic instability, pray for EHC HQ and branches to tackle evangelistic challenges wisely and win the support of churches and brethren to expand the harvest fields.
2) CHALLENGES FOR CHURCHES IN 2025: Besides an ageing society, pressure from work and studies have also pushed youth to commit more offences. Pray for the authorities and churches in evangelistic ministries to be able to meet these challenges effectively.
3) “GOSPEL Q&A”: Believers can be stumped by questions from non-believers if they are not well prepared. This book helps to equip Christians and answers many doubts of both Christians and non-believers. Pray for the 20K copies printed in APAC.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) SOUTHERN BIBLE COLLEGE IN JB: Night classes have started this month, with the various subjects taught by Revs. Yang Hancai and Wang Zhiyang, and Ps. Cai Meiling, including Evangelistic Methodologies, Personal Growth, and the book of Ecclesiastes. Pray for the students to be edified for greater service to God.
2) “HANDBOOK FOR CARING FOR THE SICKED”: How do we care for and encourage the unwell and warm their hearts? This book offers holistic guidance, especially for psychiatric caregiving. Pray for readers to uplift the weak and lead them to God.
3) SEHC LITERARY MINISTRY: As God leads our quickened footsteps in the new year, pray for more authors to join us in literary outreach, delivering touching gospel tract messages to win more souls in the harvest fields.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC INTERCESSORS AND DONORS: God is righteous and remembers and rewards our efforts of love for His work. Let us continue to work together in the new year to expand His kingdom.
2) “DAILY SPRINGS IN THE LORD”: This book edifies readers’ devotional life using selected verses from Psalms and the NT. Pray for the 20K copies in APAC to build readers’ spiritual lives.
3) LOCAL CHURCHES AND BRETHREN IN EVANGELISM: A brother transiting via Singapore and stopping for a short visit picked up tracts from SEHC to distribute. He shared that tract outreach was banned in his country. Pray for churches and brethren’s outreach participation.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY
1) OIKOS OUTREACH: We shared testimonies and counted God’s blessings during our recent thanksgiving and witnessed that tract outreach was in God’s will. Pray for more brethren to join the outreach work and more souls to know Him in this new year.
2) BRO. YU JIADE’S ART EXHIBITION: Bro. Yu held his “Life of Jesus” exhibition last November which showcased the love, power, and sacrifice of the Lord for mankind. SEHC also promotes Bro. Yu’s paintings. Pray for more to know God through them.
3) TRACT OUTREACH IN EAST ASIA: During the time of the Acts of the Apostles, believers were persecuted, and evangelism was banned, but God’s word did not stop spreading. Pray for the 2 million tracts each month to overcome all obstacles and to be distributed smoothly.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) THANKS TO OUR PUBLISHERS: Inflation is sky high nowadays but by God’s grace, our printing partners had all kept the same prices for us, so we did not have to raise the prices of our books and materials. Pray for the Lord’s blessings upon their companies.
2) ASAD: ASAD holds true to their burden of saving at least one soul a day for the Lord, reaching out with tracts to 10 locations every week. They also conduct personal evangelism classes. Pray for their ministry to become fishers of men for the Lord.
3) PRAYERS FOR THE UNWELL: Bro. Shen Bingquan lives alone and is currently recovering at home post-discharge. Ps. Wu Su-er is recuperating in a seniors’ home and hopes to attend church. Ps. Thomas John is recuperating in a rehabilitation centre. Bro. Xin is still recovering from surgery. Sis. Xiao Yang’s cancer needs to be better controlled. Please pray for God’s healing and comfort upon these brethren.
