SUN: PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 178 EHC BRANCHES IN 145 COUNTRIES: Mayotte located in the Indian ocean is an island with a strict ban on open evangelism. The EHC team there hopes to start literacy classes as a channel to reach out with the Gospel. Pray for God’s provision of the audio equipment to teach the illiterate participants.
2) 350K CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: EHC Somali has seen encouraging growth of their Christ Groups. Resistance against the Gospel is strong here but there were still many people who sought Christ. Pray for their faith to be strengthened by the Lord.
3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: EHC Serbia hopes for more churches to join EHC’s evangelistic vision and send brethren as volunteers to remote villages to conduct door-to-door outreach.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 CAMPAIGN: There has been instability and disputes in the northern part of Ethiopia in an area called Shewarobit, and people are fearing for their lives. Pray for God’s divine intervention and for no innocent life being lost in this time. Pray also for the safety of the outreach co-workers here.
2) CCIS 2023: With relaxed pandemic measures and DORSCON green, we hope to resume the physical event at Orchard Road this year. Please pray for the increased budget that is expected to be required for the physical celebrations.
3) KULUMI LAMB AUDIO PLAYER FOR KIDS: A pastor’s wife bought one for an autistic boy and he loved the Bible stories, hymns, and most of all, the adorable plush lamb. We hope more brethren would get one for the young ones around them too. Each lamb retails for $50 and all proceeds will go towards funding the operations of the CCIS ministry.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) TURKEY/SYRIA EARTHQUAKE: WHO reported a death toll of over 35,000 out of 26 million victims, with 5.3 million of them made homeless. Pray for generous donations from the nations to provide food, shelter, and healthcare for the victims and to share the Gospel with them.
2) EVANGELISM IN INDIA: 11 states in India recently reinforced their anti-conversion laws and many churches and pastors were accused of forcing or influencing others to convert to Christianity. Pray for Rev. Ragu’s open-air rally and Rev. Stephen’s outreach ministry.
3) BETHANY EMMANUEL CHURCH: They have supported over 60 local and overseas ministries over the years including SEHC. Pray for the Lord’s blessings to help them bring back many more lost souls and to add to the numbers of the saved.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) EVANGELISM IN PHILIPPINES: A sister Huang is helping to translate the tract “Jesus’ Wonderful Salvation” into Tagalog. We have approached EHCP to help in facilitating the printing and distribution of the tract. Pray for God’s blessing.
2) “THE HOPE OF EASTER” TRACT: This is the hope that is much needed by today's troubled world. Life B-P Church has ordered 20K copies with their address printed. Pray for the distribution and people will come to accept Christ and join the churches.
3) “BECOMING OUTSTANDING IN LIFE”: Since the first edition in 2002 to 2019, this book has been printed 10 times. At the request of the author, 2K copies will be reprinted for the needs of the churches in the US and the Philippines. Pray for safe shipment of the books and that readers will be edified.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC DONORS AND INTERCESSORS: Several brethren have bequeathed part of their estate to SEHC. Pray for their fragrant offerings to God to become a blessing to many.
2) “SERMONS OF JOHN SUNG”: This book commemorates the 110th anniversary of Dr. Sung and his ministry and 1,000 copies were sent to his hometown. Ps. Sun recently bought 16 copies as Dr. Sung’s sermons continue to edify many today.
3) LOCAL CHURCHES AND BRETHREN IN TRACT OUTREACH: Sis. Enhui bought 50K tracts for a Brother in Christ to distribute in Singapore and Malaysia. Pray for more churches to encourage their flock to fulfill their evangelistic duty using tracts.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY
1) JESUS IS RETURNING SOON: Disasters, war, the pandemic and people’s evil ways have been on the rise and pagans have been growing in their numbers. Christians ought to note these signs of His return and grasp every chance to spread His salvation.
2) “THE GREATEST VICTORY” AND “JESUS LIVES”: Written by Dr. James Yu and Rev. Ong Jiew Yeo respectively, 2 million copies of these tracts are printed for APAC. Pray for the tracts to sprout and bear fruit for God in the hearts of readers.
3) CNY TRACT OUTREACH: We give thanks for the churches and brethren using our CNY orange bags, scripture red packets and tracts to share the Gospel. Pray for God’s blessings on them as they work to plant the seeds of love in many hearts and lead others to His church.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) OVERSEAS MISSIONS WORK: As national borders reopen, many mission teams are raring to resume their missions work to support and encourage missionaries and deliver much needed literary materials. Please pray for their efforts.
2) A SOUL A DAY (ASAD) MINISTRY: Pray for wisdom upon them as they reach out in 10 pre-planned locations weekly. They hope to start ministering to 28 new districts. Pray for more committed brethren to join their ministry.
3) PRAYERS FOR THE SICK: Bro. Xin, husband of our part-time co-worker, has metastatic stage 4 lung cancer. Pray for his treatment and recovery. Pray also for daily joy in our elderly and frail volunteers.
