FEED 5,000 – EVANGELISM IN AFRICA

  1. A) EHC Cameroon:During the rainy season, the team conducted a four-day outreach to 3villages near the town of Campo in the Southern region, experiencing the joy of the harvest. More volunteer participants than ever eagerly reached out to over 1,000 households there, leading a total of 246 people to Christ. The team also established a Christ Group and two discipleship groups for the local new believers. In the Eastern Region, despite the damaged and inaccessible roads and busy farming season, the Lord blessed the team with open paths to preach the Gospel to over 3,000 households. Pray that the Lord will strengthen the work of the co-workers' hands and keep their footsteps in His peace.
  2. B) EHC Zimbabwe:The team proclaimed the life-changing Gospel in various villages. Pray for fruitful results from their outreach. May God also provide creative ways and channels to engage youth, inspiring and nurturing a generation that is passionate about living out the Christian faith.
  3. C) EHC St. Helena:Traditional family foundations are shaking under the impact of a morally corrupt societal atmosphere and children from broken marriages have become rebellious students who bring headaches for teachers. The team's community gospel and children's ministry aim to bring about life changes for parents, teachers, and troubled children so that their broken relationships are repaired. Pray for schools and families to guide and raise the children according to biblical teachings.

CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS IN SINGAPORE (CCIS) FUNDRAISING MATTERS

The perfect Lord Jesus Christ was crucified outside the city gate, shedding His precious blood to save humanity and cleanse people's sins (Hebrews 13:12-13). May the deep and vast love of Jesus inspire His children to commit themselves to evangelism and share the mission of spreading the Good News of Christmas. Active contribution and support for the Gospel is an honour that comes from heaven. This year marks the 21st anniversary of CCIS and we are deeply grateful for God's faithfulness and the churches and brethren’s support of the operation funds with their participation and love offerings. The first round of fundraising through the movie screening received enthusiastic response and greatly encouraged our committee. A 26-table fundraising dinner will follow soon on 09 September at the Imperial Restaurant (Hong Ren Tang), and we hope churches and brethren will continue to generously support and help us meet the budget of $350,000. The committee is working hard to invite singers and choirs and planning this year’s program and permit applications. As Jesus Christ gave His life for us, we should also make sacrifices for the Gospel so those waiting outside the gate of salvation can be saved. Please uphold us in your prayers.

EVANGELISM AND DISCIPLESHIP CHALLENGES IN CREATIVE ACCESS REGIONS

Evangelizing in Country G faces significant difficulty, while new believers often face persecution for their faith. May God help new believers to remain steadfast and grant them opportunities to receive shepherding and nurturing and help them witness their faith to their families so they too will come to believe in Jesus, spreading the Gospel even further.

The EHC branch in Country A is sowing and reaping in desolate fields, and urgently needs more volunteers to join the outreach team to fulfill the Great Commission amidst political and social turmoil. Co-workers and their families have faced ridicule, harassment, and even persecution for the Gospel. May the Lord's peace shield them from harm and may those who resist the Gospel now will eventually come to know and submit to Christ one day.

A newly converted girl in Country S visits a fellow believer's home for Bible study three times a week. While she is eager to be a Christian, she was afraid to tell her family because professing to be a Christian in that country is dangerous. Please pray for her spiritual growth and for the Lord’s protection upon her, opening the path for her to boldly confess her faith and lead her family to receive salvation together.

NEW BILINGUAL TRACT: “YOU ARE INVITED”

People generally love being invited to well-planned events or ceremonies, and if the invitation comes from a distinguished person, they feel even more excited and honoured. Unfortunately, many are unaware that the true God who created the universe had also extended a grand invitation to humankind since antiquity. Rev. Alan Ang highlights the importance of this invitation in his tract. Since humanity's fall into sin, people have been separated from God and burdened by the weight of sin. However, in His loving mercy, God extended an effective call of grace to us through the sacrificial love of Jesus on the cross. All who accept this invitation are freed from the burden of sin, saved in spirit, and can enjoy eternal happiness in the heavenly home God has prepared when they depart from this world. Rev. Ang, Pastor of Abundant Life Family Church has ordered 20,000 copies customized with their church address to lead the charge in proclaiming God's invitation to enter His true rest and the forgiveness of sins. We hope you will join us in using this tract to let more people know about the one true God's invitation so they too can receive precious gift of salvation and eternal life.

“BIBLE Q&A VOL. 1” AND “ONE HUNDRED BIBLE LESSONS VOL. 1” – UNLOCKING THE MYSTERIES OF THE BIBLE

The first book, written by Elder Samuel Ching, addresses various doubts and difficulties faced by believers when reading the Bible, providing clear and insightful answers to help them understand the Bible correctly and richly. The second book, authored by Dr. Alban Douglas, was written as a textbook for studying biblical truth, and is also suitable for self-study reference and further training of believers. It combines the exploration of truth with practical application for believers' lives. These books are suitable for brethren who wish to gain a deeper understanding of the Bible. May the Lord use them for His great work.

“REMEMBERING THE SOURCE” AND “WHO IS GOD” – THE TRUE ROOTS OF SPIRITUAL BELIEF

Both booklets were written by Bros. Dong Dayuan and Pei Ruiming. The first booklet aims to uncover the true roots of Chinese spiritual belief by referencing historical comparison and development. It discusses the Chinese people's beliefs and concepts about God. The second booklet demonstrates that the ancient Chinese knew and believed in God, and this belief was fundamental to their nation-building, leading to the development of early moral standards and practices that modern Chinese today ought to recognize and return to. Both booklets are available for purchase at our bookroom and we welcome your orders.
